Art Club

Join us on the third Saturday of the Month from March through November for Art Club at the Wilds in Stanton, Kentucky. Art and nature are perfect partners. Creating art helps us explore our feelings and deepen observations of the world around us. Nature is constantly inspiring so many feelings, wonders, thoughts, questions, and more. Spending time in nature and making art, both help to reduce stress and explore feelings, which can be so important for kids, especially in underserved communities.

Join our resident artist and Art Educator, Christina Bruno, for this new offering. This program is free, but registration is encouraged to ensure we have enough supplies available. Priority registration will go to local kids giving them time to connect to nature in a deeper way, right in their own neighborhoods. As space allows, we invite everyone to join us and discover the beautiful natural inspiration of the Red River Gorge area.

This program will run for 2 hours and will include an open studio approach with a variety of materials, art inspirations, and support from Christina. It will also include free play in nature, like all of Red Oaks programs. We invite children and families of all ages to come and explore art in nature with us.
