The Wilds
Experience the Wilds is a unique cabin rental experience near the Red River Gorge. We could not do what we do without them! Their donation was the first of its kind for Red Oaks and helped us imagine a way to serve our community with so many.

Part of the Eastern Kentucky University’s Division of Natural Areas, Maywoods offers a perfect home to our STEAM program in the Berea area, opening up access to this program to more counties in Kentucky.

Pfic.org
The PFIC Advocacy and Resource Network has partnered with Red Oaks to bring the exciting world of rock climbing to our members. PFIC is a rare disease affecting one of our founding members and the advocacy network works to find a cure. Their staff provide rock climbing guiding to expand access to this sport for local kids in Eastern Kentucky.

Josephine Sculpture Park offers the perfect setting for our Frankfort Art Club. Immersed in nature and land art, community members are invited to come and play and create in this monthly club.

Kentucky River Field School
Kentucky River Field School has provided so much support over the years. From hosting our first Teen Week, to supporting Taking Flight Next Level, to providing space for us to host programs like Nature Wellness Days and Conservation Club - they have demonstrated a huge commitment to helping kids of all ages get outdoors.

Hooting owl homestead
The Hooting Owl Homestead is a family-owned cabin company in the heart of the Red River Gorge. Their support helps us to host Forest Families in some of the most oppressed counties in the nation. They also support fundraising efforts to improve access to nature-based education in Eastern Kentucky.

West Sixth has been a generous supporter of Red Oaks mission for a long time, but now they have helped us bring programming to Frankfort with the use of their beautiful farm! Their generous donation has helped us reduce barriers by offering programming in Frankfort.

This University of Kentucky research station hosts our Taking Flight Next Level program. This one-of-a-kind program brings real wildlife field experience to middle and high school students.

The MArafiki center
The Marafiki Center has partnered with us on on annual hikes and explorations in nature and Forest Friends. The Marafiki Center works to create opportunities for cross-cultural connection. They build bridges of mutual understanding through education, events, and advocating for improved representation of the Swahili-speaking community.

Kentucky Waterways alliance
KWA is a non-profit that works to increase awareness and stewardship of our waterways. They have partnered with us on many events including Bioblitz’s, waterways clean-ups, tree plantings, and a watershed mural in Clay City, KY. We are thankful for their support and partnership!

Grow Appalachia and berea kids eat
Glades Christian Church and Grow Appalachia share their space at the Glades Community Garden in Berea for our Forest Friends program. These partners offer many community support services to Berea.

Berea College
Red Oaks is a community partner of Berea College offering job training support to their students and helping Red Oaks keep labor costs lower with the help of students. Berea College also supports programming on its various local natural areas including the Berea College Forestry Outreach Center and Brushy Fork.

The Boys and Girls Club of Frankfort now hosts Forest Friends. We offer after-school nature-based education and play to kids in the community that needs extra support.
