Join us this summer for many ways to connect to nature though education, exploration, and play!

Lexington

• Taking Flight Next Level - Explore the world of Taking Flight Next Level during this summer program for ages 12+. This program is a drop-off program.

  • Dates: Monday, June 15 - Thursday, June 18 (weather make-up date: June 19)

  • Time: 9:00am - 2:00pm

  • Location: Ecological Research and Education Center (EREC) Field Station, 1737 Russell Cave Road Lexington, KY 40505

  • Cost: Members - $225, Non-Members - $250

  • Registration: opens 3/23 for Members and 3/25 for Non-Members

• Forest Families Summer Session - Join us for a summer session of Forest Families. Ideal for ages 2-5, however, we welcome younger children to join us as well! Explore, play, and learn together in this caregiver-attended program.

  • Dates: Thursdays - June 25 and July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 (weather make-up date: August 6)

  • Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm

  • Location: Hisle Farm Park, 3551 Briar Hill Rd, Lexington, KY 40516

  • Cost: Members - $130 for parent and one child, $65 per additional child Non-Members - $150 for parent and one child, $75 per additional child Drop-ins welcome if there is space, inquire for details.

Greater Frankfort

• Summer Forest School is a chance to explore, learn, and play with Red Oaks during the summer season. This drop-off program for ages 3-12 will provide a balance of mixed-age large group and similar-aged small group exploration, education, and play each day.

  • Dates: Monday, June 15 - Thursday, June 18 (weather make-up date: June 19)

  • Time: 9:30am - 2:30pm

  • Cost: Members - $225, Non-Members - $250

  • Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm

  • Location: Walter Bradley Park, 399 Dudley St, Midway, KY 40347

  • Cost: Members - $130 for parent and one child, $65 per additional child Non-Members - $150 for parent and one child, $75 per additional child Drop-ins welcome if there is space, inquire for details.
