Exotic Species Removal at McConnell Springs

  • McConnell Springs Nature Park Lw (map)

Join us as we help the monumental effort of removing exotic species from the woods of McConnell Springs. Exotic species out compete native plants which interrupts the ecosystem processes naturally found in the area. Decreased diversity reduces ecosystem health therefore it is important to get in there, get dirty, and help remove the exotics in order to restore the native plants. We will work with the plot from 9 am - 12 pm. Join us at any time and stay to play!

Free event for all! Email us at registration@redoaksforestschool.org so we know to expect you. Suggested donation of $5 is appreciated!
